Why can I still use an app after its limit?

Check the following on your iPhone:

  1. The daily allowance has been used up.
  2. The limit includes this app.
  3. Block at End of Limit is on.
  4. The app is not in Always Allowed.
Why is an app available during Downtime?

Check today’s schedule and turn on Block at Downtime. Remove the app from Always Allowed if you want it blocked.

Can I limit an app in Always Allowed?

Remove it from Always Allowed to enforce App Limits or block it during Downtime.

Do grouped apps share one time limit?

Yes. A 30-minute group limit allows 30 minutes combined, not 30 minutes per app. Use separate limits for separate allowances.

Should I use App Limits or Downtime?

App Limits sets a daily allowance. Downtime blocks apps during scheduled hours. Use both if you want both controls.

Why does Screen Time offer One More Minute?

Apple may offer a short extension when a limit is reached. More Life does not remove that option. If you can ignore the limit for longer without a passcode, check Block at End of Limit and Always Allowed.

Why restrict websites as well as apps?

Restricting an app can leave its website accessible. To block the website entirely, add its address under Web Content → Limit Adult Websites → Never Allow.

Do I need a temporary Screen Time passcode?

Keep your existing Screen Time passcode if you know it. Otherwise, follow the temporary-passcode step in setup.

Use a code you know while configuring blocking. More Life guides you through replacing it later.

Why can't I find a setting?

Open Settings → Screen Time and turn on App & Website Activity if needed.

Menu names vary by iOS version. Some versions include Manage Screen Time; Lock Screen Time Settings may be called Use Screen Time Passcode. Web Content may be under Content Restrictions.

Does More Life change my iPhone settings?

No. You change the settings on your iPhone. More Life guides you through setup and stores the passcode.

How do I keep essential apps available?

Add them to Always Allowed. Keep access to the browser and email or authentication apps you need to sign in to More Life.

Do I need a separate Apple Account?

No. More Life no longer requires a separate Apple Account. Recover your saved Screen Time passcode through your chosen challenge.

Do I sign out of my usual Apple Account?

No. Keep your usual Apple Account signed in on your iPhone.

What happens to Apple Screen Time recovery?

The new setup is designed around choosing Skip at the Apple recovery prompt, after More Life has saved and verified your passcode.

After setup, you can view your passcode for 15 minutes. After that, complete your chosen challenge to reveal it.

How do I get my passcode back?

Open your dashboard and choose Retrieve passcode on the relevant card. Complete its challenge to view the passcode.

During an active access window, you can reveal details without repeating the challenge.

What can I do during the 15-minute access window?

For 15 minutes after you confirm setup, you can reveal your passcode without a challenge to adjust settings on your iPhone.

After the window ends, complete your recovery challenge for access.

Is the challenge time a countdown?

No. The minutes estimate how long the required rounds will take. You must complete the rounds; waiting alone does not unlock your details.

Does saving an Apple password disable Apple's account recovery?

No. More Life stores the password; it does not change Apple's recovery process. Depending on the account setup, trusted devices, phone numbers or account recovery may still let you reset that password.

How do I resume an unfinished setup?

Open your dashboard, choose In progress, then Continue setup. Use the same browser to restore its saved progress.

If a passcode is already saved, keep that setup. Do not create a replacement just because you lost your place.

I lost my place while entering the passcode. What should I do?

Use the correction option in step 5. The next action depends on whether your iPhone accepted the new code.

  1. If it has not accepted the code, back out of the entry screen and clear the partial entry. Confirm this before restarting the instructions.
  2. If it accepted the code, or you are unsure, use the saved-code recovery option. Do not replay the instructions over an accepted passcode.
My iPhone accepted the passcode. Can I start over?

Use Correct the passcode on my iPhone in step 5. Reveal the saved code through the authorized correction flow, then remove that Screen Time passcode in Settings.

Confirm that you have removed it before starting a new setup. More Life keeps the previous code saved.

Why can’t I replay step 5 after reaching step 6?

Your iPhone may already be using the saved passcode. Replaying the instructions would leave you needing that code to change Screen Time settings.

Choose Continue to Apple recovery to finish. If you need to change the code, use the correction option instead.
